I have to admit, I’ve done absolutely no research and have not validated Dan’s claim, but I believe it. EULA’s these days are just downright nasty things designed to strip you of all your rights and leave you clueless to just what you’re agreeing to.
It doesn’t help either that most of us have the, “Yeah, yeah, whatever, just let me install already!” mentality. I know I’ve done that many times in the past (not any more!).
The same thing applies to websites.
